Welcome to Soper & Co, your quintessential neighborhood coffee shop nestled in the heart of Toddington, Dunstable. Located at 8 High Street, Soper & Co is more than just a place to grab a cup of joe; it is a sanctuary where coffee enthusiasts can indulge in expertly crafted brews and create lasting memories.

As you step through the door, the inviting aroma of freshly ground coffee beans envelops you, instantly making you feel at home. The knowledgeable baristas are dedicated to delivering a superior coffee experience that consistently outshines larger chains like Starbucks and Costa. Whether you are in the mood for an Espresso that packs a punch, a silky Flat White, or an indulgent Mocha, there's a brew for everyone on their enticing menu. For those seeking something refreshing, their Iced Americano or Iced Latte is perfect for unwinding on a warm day.

The atmosphere at Soper & Co is undeniably calming; patrons find solace here, a haven where time seems to slow down. Many visitors, like Morrigan Lucia Wolffe, have expressed how the staff's warmth and approachability enrich their experience, especially those who may need an extra level of comfort due to autism. This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a welcoming retreat where all are valued.

The charm of this establishment extends beyond the coffee itself. Venture out into the lovely courtyard or the cozy "Billy's Barn" seating area, where you can savor your drink surrounded by nature and peaceful decor. Just take it from Dominic Litchfield, who was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful seating arrangement waiting for him after he ordered his delightful pastries and bagel.

Dining here is about more than just coffee. Customers rave about the quality and value of the food offerings, ensuring your visit is both delicious and satisfying. However, be prepared for a unique ordering experience as PG noted — while the queue might be a bit of a wait, the end result is always worth it, with food arriving quickly even during busy times.

Additionally, the shop boasts a delightful gift section frequented by locals who appreciate the charm and unique local offerings available, making it a great spot for local holiday shopping, as mentioned by Zoe CK. And let's not forget, you're surrounded by stunning walking paths on your doorstep, inviting you to explore the natural beauty of the village after your caffeine fix.

Soper & Co seamlessly blends the quality of specialty coffee with a friendly atmosphere, lovely food, and a sense of community that’s hard to find in larger chains. Whether you're a local or just passing through, take the time to visit this hidden gem and experience the warmth and richness that Soper & Co has to offer.

Soper & Co are genuinely my favourite place to go for coffee. The quality of the coffee is superior to Starbucks and Costa, the staff are uber warm and welcoming which makes the experience a lot nicer for someone with autism like myself. And the atmosphere is honestly really calming, I never feel rushed or unwanted in the shop. Their little gift shop on the side is really cute and great value for money too. All in all, I cannot sing Soper & Co's praises from the rooftops any louder

it was a lovely café, coffee was nice and the food was both good value and quality. Only strange thing was that you have to queue to order and then take a seat but nobody is proactively taking orders. They’re all also working on preparing drinks and food. So there was just one person ahead of me and I still waited for more than five minutes to be served. I suggest they do table orders rather than leaving people waiting because I can’t imagine what it would be like if there was a long queue.

We thought this was a little coffee bar that did take outs. How wrong we were. After ordering at the bar we were lead through an alleyway to a lovely courtyard with relaxed seating. There is also further seating in "Billy's Barn". The coffee was lovely and the pastries and bagel we ordered were lovely. We have settled on our favourite local coffee place

Fantastic place. Was there the day the tour of Britain cycle event came through and unbeatably they had a surge of people come in. But they handled it all brilliantly, and served with a smile. They were friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and served quickly to our table despite how busy it was. The inside is way bigger than you think and they’ve used the space brilliantly, making it feel cosy but not cramped. Very impressed with all of it!

Lovely village cafe that my husband and I have frequented a fair few times since we moved into the village. Lovely friendly staff, great coffee and the cafe and garden/barn area is lovely. Haven’t gotten around to having a look around the shop as yet but intend to try and shop local for Christmas this year where possible and will buy what I can here. Also must mention great walks on the doorstep! Perfect before the reward of a coffee and a snack afterwards to refuel/warm up.

Lovely place I just stopped by for a cappuccino to take back to the library while I was in town working. The lady who served me was very polite professional friendly and I'm definitely going back for a more leisurely stop off! I took some photos of the interior and outside front. However they do have from what I could see is a lovely outdoor seated area in the back. The treats on display looked very delicious and tempting!
